More beautiful is the fall season where the landscapes in Japan are blanketed with leaves of a variety of colors from red, orange, yellow, and pink. And the snow blanketing the landscapes too! The beauty is worth beholding!
First off, visit Tokyo in winter and you’ll be in love with the city. Be sure to also visit Jigokudani Monkey Park which is a really dramatic winter landscape. You can see snow monkeys and even bathe in the steaming hot waters. Fantastic!

I can’t even pick one. All these destinations sound good and the photos are just so lovely. Confession, I have never truly experienced snow, so if I am going to travel in Winter I will want an authentic one. I want to see thick snow. I want to see beautiful white mountains and frozen lakes.
Lemme help you Crickette- you can experience real good snow in Switzerland and Canada. But to make it more exciting, snow in Norway+the Northern Lights=winter made!
